Description

Cantina Trexenta’s Goimajor is a Cannonau di Sardegna DOC that reflects the authenticity and strength of the hilly terrain from which it originates. Produced from carefully selected grapes and vinified with meticulous care to preserve the fruit’s integrity, this wine is a splendid expression of Sardinian winemaking tradition.

In the glass, it displays an intense ruby ​​red color that tends to evolve toward garnet hues over time. The aromatic profile is broad and complex, dominated by notes of ripe red fruit, plum, and fruit preserves, enriched by pleasant nuances of sweet spices and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and enveloping, characterized by good structure, soft tannins, and a lingering finish that echoes the fruity and spicy notes perceived on the nose.

It pairs ideally with pasta dishes featuring rich meat sauces, substantial roasts, grilled red meats, and medium- to long-aged Pecorino cheeses.

The harvest is carried out strictly by hand using crates, while in the cellar, tradition meets modern technology through the use of steel, wood, and ceramic vessels for aging. Sardinia's Red Gold

Our saffron comes from the sun-drenched fields of Sardinia, where cultivation follows traditional rhythms. The flowers are harvested strictly by hand at dawn, between October and November, to preserve their aroma and properties intact.

To obtain just one gram of this precious spice, approximately 150 to 200 flowers are required, cleaned with artisanal care.

In the kitchen, it is the ideal ingredient for enhancing first courses such as risottos and fresh pasta, as well as soups, meats, and traditional desserts.
