Description
Grape variety: 100% Cannonau. The premier red grape variety of Sardinia, expressing good structure, balance, and elegance in our growing areas.
Soil: Clay and silt with significant limestone deposits.
Vineyard size: 3 hectares.
Training system: Guyot.
Vinification: Hand-harvested grapes are gently crushed; following a cold pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation takes place in steel tanks for approximately 10 days at 25°C, with continuous pump-overs to facilitate the extraction of desirable compounds from the skins.
Aging: Aged in stainless steel tanks for about 6 months prior to bottling.
Description: Intense ruby red color; the nose is intense, featuring varietal-typical notes of red fruit. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh, and pleasantly smooth. It offers good structure and persistence while remaining highly drinkable.
Food pairings: Versatile; pairs well with everything from appetizers to meat-based first courses and red meats—including game—as well as medium-aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16–18°C.
